Am i allowed to bring my pets?

We prefer that your four legged family members stay with their most trusted pet sitter. We are happy to recommend local kennels if you want your pet nearby during your stay!

Can I smoke during my stay?

Smoking indoors is not allowed, but we have provided a receptacle for smoking outdoors. We kindly ask that you do not litter during your stay.

May i invite guests to visit during my stay?

Our home was founded on the idea of entertaining friends and family, and we want you to enjoy the space as we did! However we request that you not invite additional guests to the property. Thank you for your understanding.

how accessible is the house?

Climbing stairs is required for accessing the Main House and Guest House.

Can we hunt on the property?

Hunting and firearms are not allowed on our property.

what if something breaks during my stay?

Please let us know immediately! Our team is available to handle anything that might come up during your reservation, from repairs to weather related maintenance to emergency situations.

what are your kayak policies?

Do I need to pack a high-chair?

 Absolutely not! You’ll find that we provide high-chairs, a pack and play, movies, books, as well as a variety of toys and games for indoor and out. We are 100 percent family friendly.

I love to cook- what do I need to bring?

You, your favorite recipes and delicious ingredients! You will find that the kitchen is completely and fully stocked with any tools and utensils you’d want to prepare a wonderful meal for your friends and family. Still not sure? We’re happy to answer any questions!

am i supposed to bring my own towels and bedding?

We’ve got you covered- dish towels, pool towels, bath towels, bed sheets, blankets, pillows. You’ll also have access to a fully stocked laundry room. To find out more about what’s in the house check out our amenities page.

When is check in and check out?

We strive to do everything we can to create an ultimate guest experience. In general, you’ll check yourself in any time after 4pm and check yourself out by 10am. Please let us know if you need special requirements, and we’ll see what we can do!

is the property private?

The property is all yours while you’re staying with us. Bear in mind that the property does require regular attention. You may see someone from the team out doing regular maintenance, particularly landscaping and pool upkeep. We will never intrude on the inside of the home without prior notice, and only if it’s an emergency.

Please also be advised that the Guest House may be rented to a separate party, who will not have access to the Main House you rent. Shared spaces include the parking area and grounds activities. This is ONLY a possibility during November, December, January, February, March and April. All other times of year, the entire property is occupied by only your group.

Is the guest house included in my reservation?

The Guest House is not included in the reservation for the Main House. You have the option to add the Guest House to your Main House reservation.
