Potomac Overlook Farms was born from a passion for celebrating friends and family. We are thrilled to share this space with groups coming together to connect with each other. It would bring us such joy to host your next retreat, family reunion, girls getaway, bachelor weekend or holiday.

Potomac Overlook Farms is a 10 acre space with two separate dwellings. The largest, our 6 bedroom Main House, is 5,000 square feet of space with a living area, game room, movie room and more. Our cozier dwelling is the Guest House which is a 2 bedroom, one bath space with full kitchen, living, dining and laundry. The Guest House is not automatically included in the Main House reservation. Interested groups can add the Guest House for an additional fee.

Being able to anticipate your needs for a comfortable stay is our number ONE priority, from providing well stocked coffee stations, to toys and high chairs for the kids, to comfy linens and towels, to designing an outdoor space you’ll never want to leave. Every detail is covered. Come see for yourself!

“Our family of two seniors, 6 adults and 7 children had a fabulous time. The house is beautiful, well equipped and with lots of amenities including outdoor equipment and indoor games for the children and the adults. Kayaking, sitting by the pool, exploring the area including ropes courses, Harper's Ferry, and Frederick, MD. The house is well cared for and well equipped to allow us to function as a group. The hosts are very responsible. Took care of any problems very quickly. A fantastic experience and the second (but probably not the last) time for us.”

The property is stunning with its beautiful river views and truly has so many available game or activity options ... beyond walking along the Potomac, we enjoyed pickleball, s'mores at the fire pit, basketball, and the hot tub. Plus, the home was very well-stocked, super clean, and all beds were incredibly comfortable.”

“We (three couples and 5yr old and 6yr old) had a great time!
Everything was well stocked:
Kitchen even had sharp knives (I feel like most rentals have dull knives).
Lots of pool toys and kiddo stuff in the outdoor shed - we used the awesome kid life vests.
Fun toys and movies for kids in basement!
Beds were mostly memory foam and very comfy. Nice linens and pillows too. Lots of towels for bath and pool.
We hope to return with larger group and rent out the guest house maybe next summer!

This was not an issue for our group, but those with mobility issues (or toddlers) should be aware of the stairs/steps throughout the house/deck and uneven walkway to front door.”

“This house was perfect for our group. My family took a long weekend getaway for my mother's 70th birthday. We ranged in ages from 85 to 3 years old, and this house was great at accommodating all of us. The kitchen was very well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, the outdoor space is fantastic and everyone was happy with their sleeping arrangements. Charles & Amber communicated with me the entire time and it was just a superb experience. The location is ideal for wineries/breweries and very close to downtown Leesburg. I hope to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool and the river.”

“This is one of the best AirBnBs that I’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully situated on the Potomac. It’s spacious, clean, and so well-equipped. The contactless check in was a breeze, especially with the easy-to-follow instruction guide that you get before your stay. “This special guest house had a spa boutique vibe. Fresh flowers, candles & comfortable. The queen bed had a firm mattress topper that my back apprenticed. Our son loved his bunkbed & all the games in his closet. The Potomac River view from the screened porch was perfect. As lovely as the inside was, we spent most of our time outside. The game shed had so many choices for every season. We chose cornhole, fishing & football. Lucketts is closeby with fun antiques & great BBQ at Roots. We wrapped up our stay with a campfireoverlooking the river. Charles was a most gracious host. We look forward to coming in the summer for some swimming, tubing & kayaking fun.”

“My wife and I cannot say enough good things. The house is spacious and bright, with an amazingly well outfitted kitchen. Little touches, like a box of tissue in every bedroom, are thoughtful. The views - front and back - are beautiful and serene. The grounds are gorgeous. We loved walking down to the Potomac and playing in the yard. We loved walking/running Wilt Store Road (just off the property), enjoying it’s hills and large horse estates. “After a stay over the summer, we returned for a September visit. We wanted to take advantage of being right on the river and getting out on the Potomac this time. Amber and team really think of all the big and small details. They provided good information links and recommendations on which landing to put the canoes in the river for a good trip. Also, the availability of the trailer hitch to allow us to transport the boats was all very helpful. We did canoeing the first day and kayaking the second day. This trip also included the grandparents. Another great time!”

“PERFECT! I can’t say how impressed we are with this beautiful property. Amber and Charles were so professional and responded quickly to any and all questions we had. We rented both the apartment and the house for a family vacation. Both properties were spotless when we got there and so well appointed. I have rented a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and I have never had a place so well stocked with everything you can imagine you might need. Every little detail was covered. Tons of pool toys, outdoor toys, equipment and games. Linens… soap… pool towels… pantry items… utensils… pots… pans… you name it, the property had it and then some! Beautifully appointed bedrooms with quality linens and amenities. We used the lovely pool a lot because it was very hot the week we were there. The air conditioning in both the house and the apartment worked great even with the heat wave. We had a problem with one of the grills early in the stay and they took care of it right away. I can’t think of one thing to be negative about. we loved it… Thank you Amber & Charles.”

We had the kids and dog with us and even though it was a bit cold and we did not use any of the water toys, we took advantage of some fishing and exploring the grounds. “The property and the location on this one are top notch. A lot of land right on the Potomac with all the amenities you could ask for. Games inside and out, hot tub, the C&O Canal trail right across the river, 2 minutes from a great brewery, not far from quaint downtown Leesburg. My wife and I also drove about 30 minutes to Harper’s Ferry to hike up Maryland Heights which was a great experience as well. Beds were all comfortable, all rooms were functional for our party of 12. The property manager even came and salted the front steps after a small ice storm while we were all out for the afternoon. Great place for family and friends to enjoy each others’ company and the natural beauty of the Potomac River region. I would highly recommend this home.”

“This location is ideal for large family or close friend groups. It’s better than any other option; more comfortable than a hotel, more scenic than a resort, more well-stocked with dishes, amenities ,sheets and appliances than your own home. You’ll want to move in before you have to check out. We had grandparents, infants and everyone in between staying comfortably on this property. The sheets are higher quality than any hotel we’ve stayed at, and there are plenty of activities, WiFi and scenery to keep everyone busy.”

“This house is amazing! Very spacious & clean. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding weekend, along with several friends and had a blast venturing to nearby breweries. The location is great for exploring the downtown area as well as nearby wineries. Early mornings & in the evenings, you’ll likely see a family of deer in the backyard- it’s very peaceful & private. We utilized the back deck every day- soaked up the crisp fall air, while sitting around the gas fire table. It’s great for large parties & if you have kids, they have an awesome game room in the basement. We’d definitely go back!”

”The kitchen is superbly equipped with plenty of silverware and dishes for a family of six to use without having to wash so often. And the house is full of amenities- board games, pool toys, balls, kayaks. And even binoculars! There were wild turkey and deer and rabbit in the garden and that was a treat for our kids. Very tranquil and peaceful surroundings and the neighboring town is charming, plenty of antique shops and farmers markets around.”

The house itself was incredible...cleaned very well, beautiful spaces, and stocked with everything we needed! In fact, my guests kept exclaiming how nicely stocked it was. ”Our family gathers each June for a week of fun and relaxation at a rental home in the DC area. Over the past decade we have stayed at many lovely homes with plenty of amenities, but Charles and Amber's place is exceptional. Exceptional in that it is by far the best stocked house we have ever rented. The owners provide all needed paper goods and cleaning supplies. The kitchen has an abundance of dinnerware and cookware. In addition to basic ingredients, there's a fully-stocked spice rack plus coffee and tea. Exceptional in there being a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games, sports equipment, shelves of DVDs and toys for children of all ages. Exceptional in that the home is spacious and nicely decorated. All the beds are comfortable, outfitted with quality linens and enough pillows to assure everyone gets their favorite. Charles and Amber respond promptly to questions and are clearly committed to assuring their guests have all they need for a wonderful stay.”
