“Hello friends! Join us on this live and interactive inVenture, as we take our friends on a virtual field trip through a working local Bee Apiary to learn about these marvelous little workers, about the protective gear necessary, the wonders bees contribute to in nature, bee farming equipment, a look inside the hives, a visit to the "honey house," seasonal farm practices, and about agricultural supply chain dynamics. We will get up close an personal with the bees, and we may even get to see a Queen Bee!

This Field Trip has been sponsored by the Little Gym of Frederick - and their Virtual at-home subscription programs! We will see, hear, & learn about the importance of Bees to our ecosystems, learn about the inner workings of the farm experience, see how local farms care for their bees, and have a live Q&A with the hardworking farmers that help to take care of the bees on this working farm, as they continue to work day and night, during this difficult time. As always, I will post age appropriate homeschool worksheets for different age groups in the comments below, which you can all participate in live as we go on this awesome virtual adventure, to ensure that while your kids are participating, while they are also learning about the important community service provided by this hardworking local family!!!
