3rd Annual VA Oyster Celebration is Sunday, November 7 from 2-6 pm.
King Street Oyster Bar will join with music by Melissa Quinn Fox.
There will also be hosting a Gumbo Cook Off and they are looking for 10 contestants!
Participants can be a restaurant, food truck, catering company, or just someone who knows they make amazing gumbo.
All you need to do to enter the cook off is bring a cooked pot of gumbo to the brewery on the day of the event.
Lost Rhino will provide tables, bowls and utensils. Categories are: seafood, chicken and sausage and game (turkey, duck, etc.).
For those who want to judge the contest, a $10 gumbo ticket will get you a taste of each entry as well as a bowl of your favorite selection.
Winner will receive the Golden Pot and a cash prize!
