“Celebrate National Public Lands Day at Gambrill State Park with a work project to better the natural, cultural, historical or recreational resources the park has to offer. 

Attendees will need to register by emailing Gambrill.StatePark@maryland.gov or calling the park at 301-293-4170. 

Attendees will meet Ranger Snyder outside the High Knob Nature Center (8448 High Knob Road, Frederick, MD 21702) for sign in and a safety briefing. Entrance fee is waived for volunteers. 

Volunteers should bring water and close toed shoes. Long pants and work gloves are recommended. 

Projects will be trail work and a possible invasive plant pull.”
